 ;)

touch adverse Crystal’d astilbe
twitching vision of crown’d catalpa
Porch’d Rhododendron
Chip’d Fiddlehead
carriage house vocabulary flowering
Morning glory flowering
Excuse me for what dictates form is &
Form is just inside the eve
this avian hotel flowering
squirrelly syntax nods to autumn prosody
in not another season poem kind of way—
I spilt my seed across the bittersweet &
Refuse’d that ordinary path
Backyard blooming in light as the
Rest of the city slowly in for the long night
& winter is just around the corner
late summer lingering at the edge of it

Memory Loop

I look’d up my bully on the Internet and I don’t think I want to see his dick anymore—

& so true memory is almost impossible. Everything I can remember is most certainly imagine’d.
The same fantastic juices move each illuminate’d thought, no sense knowing where they are
going until they spark there. & as I move through that membrane memory:

Memory—that queer proxy—terminal past—a time—a place—memory that project’d vision—a
tune’d vision—a true’d vision—history—that queer projection—a lifetime of
yearning—AMERICA you abuser—AMERICA I want to swallow you whole—AMERICA I
waste’d my youth—I couldn’t kill myself & now I settle to love myself—that horrible
confession—YES I WANT TO LIVE & LOVE & LIVE AGGRESSIVELY

Repetition repetition repetition—all things can be unlove’d and beautiful. I try to take it apart and
I am left with more pieces than I start’d. Back tracking like a mental till. Up grow shoots of
memory and they taste so delicious but unplaceable.

A Conversation at Psychic Pond

at the base of the
pond there is a doe
at the base of the
pond there is a countenance
at the base of the
pond there is a tree

at the edge of the
tree there is an afternoon
at the edge of the
tree there is a particular rabbit
at the edge of the
tree there is a bite to eat

I follow a particular
rabbit to a stream and I
follow a tree to where
the particular rabbit led me

I follow a particular
rabbit to a television set
in the middle of a crick an
a tree comes out to greet me
in the afternoon

I follow a particular
tree branch into the afternoon
I can count four doe at the
edge of a pond
they are kissing and sweeping
sweet poetry out across the tree’s
shadow

I find a pair of kissing rabbits
drawing deer in the sand
the sand under a tree under
a particular kind of memory

through the tv there is a stream about
fiction but they fail to see poetry
jumping out the wake to say how
do you do
how do I watch another
Byronic film again

these assholes won’t even
make a FRANK OHARA
GERTRUDE STEIN
STEVEN JONAS
LARRY EIGNER
ALFRED STARR HAMILTON
HANAH WEINER
ROSMARIE WALDROP
BERNADETTE MAYER
JOHN WIENERS
ETC. movie and they know it!
but still I digest—

out from the duckweed
comes an underwhelm’d distraction
out from the duckweed
comes GEORGE CONDO dripping
in visions

Are you interest’d in books?
yes.
Only half of them are real.
Which ones?
So you’ve just come from the Institute
of art, you know computers made
half of them—
Name, family, imaginary genes
the building blocks of a
sentient notebook
I keep therefore I am

by the edge of the pond
freedom
by the edge of the pond
a small room
by the edge of the pond
a small room with small windows
I am refurbishing paintings madly
I’m a fever pitch whistling acrylic

why I’m not a painter or
a series of reasonings from
my oceanic brain

no my briny brain
yes my briny brain
submerge’d in psychic
pond

a particular psychic
rabbit a particular
type of duckweed

out past psychic
pond all authority
relinquish’d under beauty
