it’s called the final chapter but they’re actually making a fifth one right now

in shrek four the plot is that it’s an alternate reality
where shrek was never born, where fiona is an outlaw
leading the underground ogre resistance, doesn’t know him
is like bitch i saved myself from that castle, i don’t need you
the whole movie he is trying to explain trying to fit her into
a memory only he contains it seems embarrassing it seems
like how i sunk my teeth into an idea of you and me
how childlike i would not let go, would not accept
impermanence or you as separate, slobbering all over, gross
then at the end they still do the whole true love’s kiss thing
and everyone just evaporates, this is supposed to be a happy ending
but what was wrong with fiona the way that she was
why did she yet again require True Love, and what about
that other world and everyone in it, the ogres, where did they go
what about the part when puss eats the gingerbread man
that was kind of messed up
