Melissa Violette Aliz
—
deep throating phalanges
fractured joints
there’s mimes at the morgue
there’s blood on the ball gag
we found roach nymphs inside of you
tastes like pasteurized pussy
pear of anguish stygian owls
disemboweled loving
with a concave chest
severed aorta rinse off the blood
this shirt helps me forget this body is mine
barbed wire ligaments
nothing startles me
feet melted flesh
married to floorboards
omens confined by longing
—
extremely rare instability
in the sky super eight motel
yellow dish gloves fused to my hands
crawling on chartreuse knees
snipped your achilles with
pruning shears from under the bed
you won’t go far now
you’re with me now
in this charming way
you ceremoniously plead
while you’re bleeding out
murky velocity blithe unfurling
rib cage umbilical fertile bloat
thready pulse delicately
foaming at the mouth
sucking pus from your
wounds tragically engorged
collapsed chastity viscous
virtuous phantom mistress
divine opacity queues
of tepid orbital bones
blighted shrines of you
density of a prying hex
remarkable emesis
with your feeble devices
disorienting decapitation
spasm under twilight sedation
her eyes shine and she talks
like she runs relentlessly
burnt curtain debris
blooming stagnant water
sagittal sutures decayed stumps
cyanobacteria between my toes
sipping curdled milk sediment and spinal fluid
am i agoraphobic in the afterlife
—
bleating proxemics
and paralytics
lapsed suspension
winged marionettes
transparent coffins
shattered windows
shrill seduction
limp paranoia
suffocating circumstance
caged contortion splintered chains
rusted lockets images of you
central sublime subluxed hyoid
infected embrace bruised nails falling off
insemination at the serpentarium
sprawling mold cracked ceilings
peeling paint dirt floors
envious adorned grating
touch of a morning star
tied to a steel table someone
is feeding me but these cannot
be my hands anymore masked
injections tortured mundane tranquility
touch beyond words
kiss beyond compassion
submit to you im dizzy
im yours the stars are mine
i cant run from you there’s
not a distance anymore
glistening blood in the daylight
traversed through love
through cryptic fatalities
—
promises of
a nourishing ablation
matte gaze pleated
cascading dust
corroded your peripherals
a glaring disjointed
incongruent armor bound
rural heavens immense
worships decomposition
fragmented benign
dental bones
calcified stilettos
the femur holds you
for how long
there’s a clearing
aside the dirt road
im vomiting on
the shoulder
pastural ascendancy
steel silos
this path left ashes
impasses sunken etiquette
upon death i give you my teeth
